Shareef Malnik's lustrous South-of-Fifth home was just slashed by $1 million to its current ask of $13.995 million. On and off the market since 2009, it's unique in that it is one of a mere handful of private homes in South Beach's southernmost neighborhood.

The four-bed, six-bath is draped in white with state-of-the-art everything, including a smooth, artsy central staircase and a rooftop pool deck with retractable awnings. The owner of the Forge appears to have spared no expense on his 7,056-square-foot paradise.

Oh and there are two ropes hanging from the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. I think they provide lighting, judging from the pictures, but not everything in South Beach is as it appears...
