Study: Miami is a Terrible City for Real Estate Agents

New, 3 comments

Among the 150 most populated cities in America, WalletHub has concluded Miami is among the worst places to be a residential real estate agent.

The Magic City ranked 134th and nearby Fort Lauderdale a bit worse at 136th.

They examined 13 metrics, including sales per agent, job competition, and annual median wage in addition to factoring in the health of the market. Five Florida cities - Miami, St. Petersburg, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, and Pembroke Pines - ranked in the bottom five in "real-estate job density" against "real-estate job competition."

Denver ranked first and Detroit brought up the rear.
