A few years after Sammy Sosa threw down $7.6 million for an oceanfront home in Golden Beach and the ex-slugger has flipped it for $9.15 million.
The 7,272-square-foot home has seven bedrooms, 8.5 bathrooms, 75 feet of direct ocean frontage, a central courtyard, and a koi pond.
The private sale was co-brokered by Stuart Drossner of Drossner Realty Inc and Alexander Goldstein, of Miles Goldstein Real Estate, LLC.
"There is an inherent luxury associated with a home located directly on the Ocean. With this particular property, this is heightened to a level of being utterly spectacular due to its size, and location in the exclusive Town of Golden Beach," says Goldstein, who previously handled the transaction of the home of the late Maurice Gibb for the Estate of the Bee Gees, also located in Golden Beach.
The serene estate is a baseball throw away from the one Ricky Martin sold in 2012 for $12.8 million.
