Listed at $35.9 million, Casa Clara is among the five priciest homes for sale in Miami Beach.

The tropical-modern home has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms with 11,500 square feet of living space. Fully outfitted by the Solesdi Showroom, it features pocketing walls of sliding glass doors, a home theater, and private mini-beach overlooking the bay.

"The tropical modern home sits on a double lot, achieving a horizontal nature that is highly desirable for indoor-outdoor living and quite rare," said Ralph Choeff, Principal at Choeff Levy Fischman Architecture + Design (CLF). "It features warm tones and vast expanses of sliding glass doors that maximize the dramatic water and downtown views and makes one feel as if they were outdoors when really indoors and vice versa."

The double-lot property was acquired for $962,000 in 2011 and developed by Ahmad Khamsi.
