Welcome to Curbed Comparisons, a column that explores what one can rent or buy for a set dollar amount across various Miami neighborhoods. Is one man's studio another man's townhouse? Let's find out!
Our budget for this week's apartment hunt is $1,700 a month.
But today we'll be widening our scope, focusing on regulars like Brickell, Downtown Miami, and Edgewater but we've also decided to trek north, to Aventura and Fort Lauderdale.
Join us on our tour and vote for your favorite at the bottom.
Here’s an 800-square-foot unit on the southern edge of Brickell with one bedroom, two bathrooms, and bay views.
This 738-square-foot unit at the Loft in Downtown Miami offers an updated kitchen and stainless steel appliances.
Moving north to Edgewater, we have a one-bed, one-bath in Cite on the Bay, which is located a block away from Margaret Pace Park. It’s 715 square feet.
At 1,066 square feet, this one-bedroom penthouse in Aventura is our largest offering, with a nice, open floor plan and water views.
Our final option is in Fort Lauderdale, with a one-bedroom unit right off Las Olas. It measures 850 square feet and is directly on the water.
