A few days ago, Ransom Everglades was reportedly purchasing La Brisa in Coconut Grove at a number "relatively close to asking price."
The sale closed today at $34.6 million, which makes the 6.9-acre estate the priciest sale for a single-family home in the history of Coconut Grove and among the Top 10 highest sales in Miami-Dade County.
"Ransom Everglades has been looking at this property for some time and this transaction increases its holdings to approximately 16.9 acres," said listing agent Nelson Gonzalez, Vice President of EWM. "The demand for acres of land – especially of this scope and location -- is extremely high in South Florida, so this listing has been a rarity on the market and a prime opportunity for investment."
