The state of Florida covers just under 66,000 square miles, which would make it the 90th largest country in the world if it were separated from the United States.

To add proper perspective to its size, the folks at SelfStorage.com executed a fun exercise: "if Florida were a storage unit, what counties could you fit inside?"

There are about 111 countries smaller than the Sunshine State, including Portugal, Greece, and Iceland.
