A mixed-use five-story development has been approved by the Miami Beach Design Review Board for 1212 Lincoln Road, with a hotel, luxury retail, and an indoor food court headed to the 1600 block of Alton Road that’s currently anchored by a Wells Fargo.
The Crescent Heights development will be designed by Perkins+Will and include 100 boutique hotel units, a European-style market, and 450 parking spots.
The project will consist of nearly 45,000 square feet of hotel space and 93,000 square feet of retail, per The Real Deal.
Galbut said the project is designed to provide a "leap from Lincoln Road to the other side of the street, which has not been made." She told The Real Deal the concept was to expand the pedestrian experience from Lincoln Road all the way down to 16th Street, along Alton Road.
It’s slated for completion in 2017.
