Playboy Mansion sale closes; Le Palais Royal becomes country’s 2nd priciest listing

The Playboy Mansion just officially sold for $100 million to its neighbor at a whopping $100 million under ask, per the Wall Street Journal.

With that sale, Le Palais Royal in Hillsboro Beach becomes the second most expensive home for sale in the United States, listed at $159 million, behind this $195 million manse in Manalapan.

Le Palais Royal is a 60,000-square-foot estate modeled after the Palace of Versailles in Paris is expected to be finished in November.

Among it’s grocery list of standout features is the 500 feet of oceanfront and its entertainment complex, the latter housing an ice-skating rink, casino, nightclub, bowling alley, and Star Wars-themed go-kart track, joining the world’s first home IMAX theater and a 1,300-gallon saltwater aquarium wall.
