Fort Lauderdale manse with 450 ft of waterfront for $27.5M

A 9,295-square-foot mansion on a point lot in Fort Lauderdale just hit the market asking $27.5 million, becoming the third most expensive home for sale in the city overall and the priciest on a per-square-foot basis at $2,958 a foot, per Redfin data.

Located at 2501 Mercedes Drive, it features 450 feet of waterfront, a wrap-around dock that includes 350 feet of side dockage, home theater, elevator, and third-level gym with a sauna.

Listed with Coldwell Banker, the description states $3 million has been spent on indoor and outdoor lighting, and the home last sold for $11.5 million in 2013.

The priciest listing in Lauderdale is at 615 Lido Drive, which is now asking $32 million. Next is 2400 Del Lago Drive at $29 million, which is around the corner from our newest listing.
