Spark breaks ground in Edgewater at 40 percent sold

The boutique condo will have 56 units

Spark, a 56-unit boutique condo developed by Spider, broke ground in Edgewater at 40 percent sold.

Located at 522 Northeast 34th Street and around the corner from Midtown, prices begin at $500,000 within the colorful development, with units ranging from one to three bedrooms in addition to two triplex penthouses, starting at 3,895 square feet.

With completion targeted for 2018, amenities include a pool, gym, spa, massage room, yoga garden, barbecue area, social room, theater, music room, and sky terrace.

"We bought Spark's site in early 2014 with a clear vision of a project perfectly suited for a lifestyle with a careful balance of luxury, sophistication, and sustainability," says Spider Principal Andres Goldenberg, "focused on fitness, the arts, and entertainment. Today's groundbreaking marks the first step in the realization of that vision."

The project is being designed by architectural firm Behar, Font & Partners, P.A.
