Miami renters graded overall satisfaction at a C-

With the size of the US rental population at an all-time high (37% or 110 million Americans), Apartment List conducted a nationwide survey revolving around renter confidence, where 30,000 people graded their city across multiple categories, like safety, affordability, weather, and commute time.

Miami renters gave the city a C- for overall satisfaction, with the biggest issues being Commute Time (D), Public Transit (C-), and Affordability (C-).

The top areas were State and Local Taxes (B+), Weather (B+), and Quality of Schools (B-). Florida cities that fared well overall were Jacksonville (A-), Orlando (B), and Tampa (C+).

Kansas, Montana, and South Dakota were the highest graded states, with each receiving an A+ in overall satisfaction.
