The CASA Boutique Hotel recently opened in Miami Beach at 1334 Washington Avenue, bringing 32 upgraded rooms to the heart of South Beach.

Blue Road purchased the property in 2015 and the original site housed the historic Waldorf Building, which was built in 1925. The original Spanish architecture remains while the rooms have been updated to evoke a luxurious modern feel.

In March, a new restaurant will open at the hotel called Il Baretto, which will feature Italian cuisine in the form of tapas, fire-oven pizzas, and homemade pastas.

Blue Road is a Miami development company led by principals Jorge Savloff and Marcelo Tenenbaum.

“We had high hopes for this property when we purchased it, and the results have far exceeded our expectations,” Savloff said. “CASA offers guests a fantastic Miami Beach boutique hotel experience at very reasonable rates.”

“As with all of our hospitality projects, particularly in Miami Beach, we set out to make a distinctive hotel that blends history, beauty, and charm with modern luxury and technology,” added Tenenbaum. “So far, our guests have given us tremendous feedback, and we look forward to further enhancing their CASA experience with the opening of Il Baretto in March.”
