A new hotel is planning to open in a restored Art Deco building at 3101 Indian Creek Drive in Miami Beach’s Faena District under the name Palihouse Miami Beach.
The 70-key property will feature brand new interiors and “an eclectic design palette inspired by the eastern seaboard and boho,” according to a spokesperson for Paligroup, which also announced the development of new properties at three other locations: Westwood Village, Seattle and Culver City.
The Miami Beach version will include a lobby bar, a private pool area, a beach club, and a dock for guests’ exclusive use. The current building at the site is a condo that was built in 1940. It’s located around the corner from the lavish Faena Hotel, which opened a couple of years ago.
Paligroup’s current portfolio encompasses three properties around Los Angeles, including locations in West Hollywood, Santa Monica, and Melrose. Their Miami Beach offering is a Palihouse product, which differs from a Palihotel in that “they represent the company’s luxury suited product, typically focused on larger guest rooms and/or all-suite accommodations suitable for long-stays.”
Palihouse Miami Beach is scheduled to open in early 2019.
