Oceanfront Key Biscayne condo asking $6M is willing to accept Bitcoin

A gorgeous oceanfront residence at Oceana Key Biscayne has hit the market asking $5.95 million.

The owner is willing to accept Bitcoin, according to listing agent Michael Light of Douglas Elliman. The asking price amounts to about 934 bitcoins.

Highlighting Unit #702S is 3,603 square feet of interior space, four bedrooms, a staff quarters, five and a half bathrooms, marble flooring, 10-foot ceilings, a private elevator, and a chef’s kitchen with custom cabinetry, Quartz countertops and Miele appliances. There’s about 1,000 square feet of terrace space overlooking the ocean.

Bitcoin is a worldwide cryptocurrency and digital payment system that was released as open-source software in 2009. Over the summer, a Coral Gables home also was advertising the fact the owner was willing to accept the the cryptocurrency. That home remains on the market for $6.5 million.
