Final Sabbia Beach penthouse sells for $5.35M

The Pompano Beach development is now 85 percent sold

Sabbia Beach, an upcoming oceanfront condo in Pompano Beach that is expected to be completed next year, just sold its second and final penthouse for $5.35 million ($943 per square foot).

The area’s first luxury oceanfront residential development in nearly a decade is currently 85 percent sold and entails 68 residences in all. The latest penthouse unit to come off the market, Penthouse B, is a two-story residence sizing up at 5,675 square feet. It has six bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, 22-foot ceilings in the living areas, and nearly 1,000 square feet of terrace space.

Back in January of this year, the development set a Pompano Beach record when its Terazza B residence pulled in $969 per square foot — at a purchase price of $3 million — breaking its own record set by the sale of Penthouse D, which raked in $5.5 million, or $934 per square foot.

To entice prospective buyers, owners will not pay association fees for the first year. Amenities include 200 linear feet of shoreline representing a private beach; an oceanfront pool; and a fitness center with an ocean view.
