Aston Martin Residences is preparing to break ground in less than two weeks, per G&G Business Developments, as the developer announced a formal groundbreaking ceremony will take place on Wednesday, October 18.

The news officially comes a little over a month after the developer filed a notice of commencement with Miami-Dade County for the 66-story sail-shaped tower to rise along the southern edge of downtown Miami. Located just east of the Epic Hotel, sales have surpassed the $100 million threshold in deposits.

In July, the highly anticipated 391-unit development opened its on-site sales gallery at 300 Biscayne Boulevard. The venue is also housing an 800-horsepower Aston Martin Vulcan—one of only 24 in the world.

Amenities include a large spa and fitness center, which features individual rooms for spinning, boxing, and meditation; in addition to a golf simulator, multiple theaters, and a curated art gallery.

The project happens to be moving forward at the breakneck speed typically reserved for Aston Martin vehicles, considering it was announced just under a year ago. Completion is expected in 2021.
