Touted as the world’s first fully electric luxury yacht, Dasher will be on display at this year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, which begins today and runs through the weekend.

Yacht builder Hinckley launched the enthralling new product about a month and a half ago. Named after the original Picnic Boat hull #1, the 28-foot Dasher’s array of features include a carbon-epoxy composite hull shape, titanium hardware and console details that were 3D printed, and twin 80-horsepower electric motors.

Its range is 40 miles at cruising speed (10 mph) and 20 to 25 miles at fast cruising speeds (18-27 mph). With dual 50 amp dock charging, the quiet vessel can be fully charged in four hours.

Reservations are now being accepted for delivery in Summer 2018 and pricing starts at above $500,000. Check out the seven largest yachts at this year’s Fort Lauderdale Boat Show over here.
