Welcome to Miami’s Curbed Comparisons, a column that explores what one can rent or buy for a set dollar amount across various South Florida neighborhoods. Is one man's studio another man's townhouse? Let's find out!

Last week’s Curbed Comparisons toured five Miami-area homes for under $900,000.

This week, we focus on rentals at or below $2,000 per month, which is a little above Miami’s median rent for one-bedroom apartments

Edgewater 1: 3301 Northeast 5th Avenue #12112

$1,995

This 1,160-square-foot residence in Edgewater offers two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and direct views of the bay.

Edgewater 2: 1756 N Bayshore Drive #8B

$1,973

Yet another bay-facing residence in Edgewater, this 708-square-foot unit has one bedroom, one and a half bathrooms, and sits next to Margaret Pace Park. Additional details include wood floors, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances.

South Beach: 1504 Bay Road

$1,983

Measuring 1,110 square feet is a one-bed, one-bath unit in the Flamingo with a partial bay view. It’s being offered with six weeks free rent, per the listing, and also includes a den.

Dadeland 7440 North Kendall Drive #1109

$1,975

Here’s a 736-square-foot residence at Pearl Dadeland with one bedroom and one bathroom. It’s across the street from Dadeland Mall.

Sunny Isles Beach: 300 Bayview Drive #1908

$2,000

The largest residence on our list is of course to the north, in Sunny Isles Beach. The 1,220-square-foot unit is furnished while offering two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and incredible water views.
