Rene Gonzalez, the acclaimed Miami architect behind projects such as South Beach’s Louver House and Glass, listed his home in Morningside a few days ago asking $1.25 million.

Located a few houses down from the bayfront Morningside Park, the 1,717-square-foot midcentury modern residence underwent a complete renovation. It’s equipped with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, Peetz mahogany, Terrazzo flooring, and restored original walnut cabinets from the Palm Bay Club.

The property, which Curbed toured in 2015, last sold in 2004 for $467,500. Gonzalez is currently building himself a fascinating elevated home in the Venetian Islands.
