The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach offers an aquatic helicopter experience

The latest in over-the-top amenities

Miami’s condo amenity game has officially reached absurd levels.

The Porsche Design Tower has its car elevator. Paramount Miami Worldcenter will have its theme park of an amenity deck. Estates at Acqualina will house an ice skating rink.

The latest over-the-top amenity: A navigable marine helipad coming to The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach, which is scheduled to be completed in the coming months.

In partnership with iLand Miami and Miami Executive Helicopters, the amenity will be used to woo prospective buyers on tours, but its main function will be to allow residents to bypass traffic via air and sea. The vision: Owners arriving by private jet will be picked up by a helicopter, which will land on Miami’s first aquatic mobile helipad in Biscayne Bay. The development’s “day yacht” will then whisk them to the property via a three-minute boat ride down a canal.

In October, The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach unveiled some magical renderings of its penthouse collection. Check out the ridiculous chopper experience in the video below.
