Welcome to Miami’s Curbed Comparisons, a column that explores what one can rent or buy for a set dollar amount across various South Florida neighborhoods. Is one man's studio another man's townhouse? Let's find out!
This week’s Curbed Comparisons is going the aquatic route in the form of extravagant superyachts available for charter.
Miami Art Week has attracted a surreal number of magnificent vessels to our marinas and we thought it’d be appropriate to feature five of the most luxurious yachts for charter currently docked in Miami.
As for the extravagant boats in town not available for charter, we have the glorious Fountainhead and Lionheart at Island Gardens Deep Harbour Marina, in addition to the 301-foot Aquarius at the marina at Terminal Island in Miami Beach.
Note: The yachts are arranged in order from least to most expensive
Bliss
Charter rate: $125,000 per week
Size: 144 feet
Docked by Museum Park in downtown Miami, Bliss is a stunner with a contemporary design.
La Pellegrina
Charter rate: $275,000 per week
Size: 164 feet
The sleek 2012 vessel sleeps 12 guests and features a max speed of 28 knots.
Mine Games
Charter rate: $330,000 per week
Size: 203 feet
Among the features of this lavish superyacht are a Turkish bath and jacuzzi on the sundeck, an elevator, a helipad, and a baby grand piano.
Elysian
Charter rate: $425,000 per week
Size: 197 feet
Elysian is a spectacle and the owner of a handful of superyacht awards, receiving glowing marks for its contemporary design. Among its most distinguishing qualities is its gorgeous “sky lounge.”
Seanna
Charter rate: $504,000 per week
Size: 213 feet
Not surprisingly, Seanna is the largest and priciest of the group. She includes a library with a fireplace in addition to an indoor/outdoor club.
