An 18,300-square-foot mansion in Palm Beach just raked in $49 million ($2,678 per square foot), per The real Deal, making it the priciest spec home sale in Palm Beach County history.

The British Colonial home sitting on nearly 3.5 acres has eight bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, and was built in 2016. The beachfront beauty boasts 142 feet of ocean frontage, offering a detached guest house, cabana, and mansion-friendly features like a wine cellar, home theater, fitness center, sauna, steam room, elevator, walk-in fridge, and four fireplaces.

The previous home on the property was torn down after selling for $14.35 million in 2012, paving the way for the elegant new build that was recently completed. It sold for $10 million under its previous asking price.
