Last weekend was popping in Miami with several huge events drawing in thousands to South Florida.
While boating enthusiasts flocked to Miami Beach and Virginia Key for Yachts Miami Beach and the International Boat Show, respectively, the Coconut Grove Arts Festival drew large crowds of its own amid a weekend of musical performances, various forms of art, and Miami culinary staples like mojitos and stone crabs of course.
The show began in 1963 as a intimate “clothes line” art show, per the festival’s website. Today it draws an estimated 120,000 people and 360 internationally recognized artists.
