The Marriott Stanton South Beach is amid a $15 million renovation, announced Key International, sprucing up its food and beverage concepts and amenities.
Located at 161 Ocean Drive, there are plans for multiple new dining options in the 224-room hotel, in addition to improvements in its on-site Starbucks, and a new full-service spa. They’ve already added a new beachside Mexican eatery in the recently opened Lolo’s Surf Cantina, which was created after repurposing former guest rooms.
The next phase includes the spa, which will be operated by NFC, and a Japanese restaurant called Azabu. Both are expected to be completed by the end of the year.
The final phase of renovations will focus on rebranding its existing DecoBlue restaurant, introducing a “flow-through social space that incorporates indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the ocean,” which is expected to open in 2018.
