Food halls continue to sprout across Miami, with the latest being The Lincoln Eatery, a Terranova project opening at 723 Lincoln Lane in South Beach, just off Lincoln Road.
Expected to debut Fall 2018, the building is already anchored by Marshalls on the upper floors. The open culinary concept will focus on fast and affordable dining options within spaces ranging in size from 119 to 500 square feet at ground level and a rooftop terrace with nearly 5,000 square feet of seating.
As you can see in the images down below, the first floor sits behind a glassy facade along Meridian Avenue.
“If you look at Lincoln Road, Sunset Drive, Miracle Mile, Ocean Drive, Collins Avenue, and any of South Florida’s high streets, you’ll see they’re at or reaching capacity,” said Mindy McIlroy, Executive Vice President at Terranova. “It becomes our responsibility as developers to think of how to best add to these destinations without taking away the inherent character that draws people there in the first place. There’s a delicate balance we try to achieve in creating new experiences and new spaces that are interesting and exciting to consumers, but that also offer value and a chance at success for shops, restaurants, and other retail partners. One doesn’t work without the other.”
Other announced Miami food halls include La Centrale in Brickell City Centre and Time Out Market, the latter planned around the corner from The Lincoln Eatery.
