Miami’s Midtown Five received its Temporary Certificate of Occupancy a couple of months ago, bringing 400 luxury apartments to the popular and evolving Midtown Miami neighborhood north of downtown.

The mixed-use Magellan Development Group project features 22,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space and 52,000 square feet of amenities, including a spa, yoga lawn, fitness center, pool, meditation garden, dog run, and children’s play zone.

Located just south of 4 Midtown and across the street from popular restaurants like Sugarcane and Bocce, the new rental development evokes a contemporary feel beyond its curve façade, which was modeled after the movement of the ocean. The LEED-certified building utilized sustainable materials during construction and is a 100-percent smoke-free environment.

Units range in size from 540 to 1500 square feet and are available in studios, one-bedrooms, two-bedrooms, and three-bedrooms. Interiors were designed by ADD Inc. and include keyless entry, smart thermostats, porcelain tile flooring, quartz countertops, and Grohe stainless steel appliances. The architect is Loewenberg and Stantec did the interiors.

They’re not cheap: Studios start at $1,814.
