Trey Songz’s next single should be called ‘Choppin’ (with the tune of Chris Brown’s Poppin’) because his Miami condo located in Courts Brickell Key was just reduced for the sixth time since listing for $1.05 million in February 2016.
The new ask is $750,000 ($461 per square foot), which is closer to the median asking price on a per-foot basis for the building, whereas the initial ask was towards the peak. The 1,626-square-foot residence is on the 24th floor, offering two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, one half-bath, and bay views.
He purchased the unit for $437,000 in 2010.
According to gossip website The Dirty, Songz was hit with a foreclosure lawsuit by the Brickell Key Master Association over unpaid maintenance bills connected to the residence. Realtor says the issue has been resolved. Meanwhile, Songz purchased a unit at the new Brickell Heights last summer, per The Real Deal.
Songz remains a hot name in the music industry. The singer-songwriter-actor released a new hit titled Tremaine in early April, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and became his fifth Top 10 single.
