A penthouse at the Carbonell in Brickell Key recently sold for its full asking price of $2.75 million.
The 2,951-square-foot residence listed in January and has three bedrooms and four bathrooms.
It becomes the island’s biggest sale within the last year and among the most expensive sales in the Brickell area within the same timeframe. Unit #3703 features spectacular views of the bay and ocean from its 1,750 square feet of terrace.
Selling for $932 a foot, it set a Carbonell high on a per-square-foot basis.
“The building is one of the best in Brickell—extremely well run with low maintenance fees but with all the top-of-the-line services and amenities you can expect from an A-grade Condo,” said listing agent David Siddons, Vice President at EWM International, “In the end we had multiple bidders and it took just 25 days to get into contract. We widely use high production video story telling to sell our properties and the buyers wife saw the video and fell in love - after that it was a done deal.”
The residence previously sold in 2006 for $1.25 million.
