A sleek contemporary home with a tranquil water view in Miami Beach closed yesterday for $10.9 million, a record price for a completed single-family residence on Allison Island.
The 8,500-square-foot new construction was finished in April 2016. It was developed by Todd Michael Glaser and designed by Domo Architecture. Featuring 80 feet of water frontage along Indian Creek, the estate has eight bedrooms, ten bathrooms, and a large dock.
“Despite the ebbs and flows of the luxury market, there has been a great deal of pent-up demand in South Florida… particularly in Miami Beach,” said listing agent David Hunt Solomon of EWM International. “Savvy buyers are looking for properties that offer the right combination of lucrative value and standout amenities.”
The buyer is death metal guitarist and horror writer Jeremy Wagner, according The Real Deal. He was represented by Julian Johnston of Calibre International Realty.
The property last sold for $3.86 million in 2013.
