While Tiger Woods’ DUI arrest in Jupiter, Florida is racking up major national attention, a nearby home for sale with a stiletto-shaped tub in the master bath (and an interesting owner) is sauntering under the radar.
The French Chateau estate is owned by Alan Markovitz, whose juicy bio apparently includes purchasing a home in Michigan and erecting a 12-foot statue of a middle finger in the backyard — this of course is aimed directly at his ex-wife’s home next door. The Detroit strip club owner also starred in a short-lived series titled “Topless Prophet,” which aired for one season on Cinemax in 2014.
The home is located on Commodore Drive within Admirals Cove, whose amenities includes golf, tennis, a marina, spa, and more. The 7,100-square-foot residence has three bedrooms, five bathrooms, and is highlighted by 110 feet of deep water frontage along Lake Worth Creek.
Built last year by DesRosiers Architects, additional features include a mammoth chef’s kitchen, smart home technology, windows imported from Italy, and Calacatta gold marble floors. Perla Lichi designed the interiors.
“230 Commodore Drive is a true entertainer’s paradise, built to entertain hundreds of guests at a time,” said Douglas Elliman listing agent Chad Carroll, who is co-listing with Michael Prettitore. “Featuring flawless finishes and one-of-a-kind custom features, this Perla Lichi-designed masterpiece is undoubtedly impressive.”
The property was acquired for $1.6 million in 2009 and was asking as much as $8.7 million when it listed in January.
Before you take a video tour of the Jupiter estate, here’s the ballsy statue at Markovitz’s home in Detroit.
