Miami is among the least diverse cities in the United States, according to a new study by WalletHub.
The analysis looked at 501 of the largest cities across five areas: household diversity, religious diversity, socioeconomic diversity, cultural diversity, and economic diversity. The goal was “to determine the most kaleidoscopic places in America.”
Among the 60 “large cities” in the study, Miami ranked 55th overall. New York City, Houston, and Dallas took the top three spots.
Out of all 501 cities, Miami ranked 258th with a specific breakdown bulleted below:
- Socioeconomic Diversity' Rank: 429th
- 'Cultural Diversity' Rank: 175th
- 'Economic Diversity' Rank: 85th
- 'Household Diversity' Rank: 46th
- 'Religious Diversity' Rank: 365th
