Miami is a common host for extravagant yachts at all times of the year. Track these magnificent vessels and their outlandish toys with Miami Yacht Watch, which typically runs weekly on Curbed Miami.
A 280-foot superyacht dubbed “Vibrant Curiosity” docked at the slip between Museum Park and the American Airlines Arena in downtown Miami.
Its owner is German billionaire Reinhold Würth, a businessman and art collector who built his father’s screw business into a billion-dollar company. He reportedly paid $100 million for the contemporary Italian-built vessel, which launched in 2009.
The sleek superyacht can accommodate up to 14 guests and 26 crew, with features including a helipad; elevator; tender garage; interiors designed by Nuvolari - Lenard; and a master stateroom with its own private office.
Würth, with an estimated fortune of $11.4 billion, was named the 126th richest person in the world by Forbes.
Vibrant Curiosity is one of the largest yachts we’ve seen pass through Miami.
