Miami Dolphins linebacker Kiko Alonso, who just received a four-year contract extension potentially worth $28.9 million ($18.5 million guaranteed) a few months ago, purchased a home in Fort Lauderdale for $1.45 million, reports The Real Deal.

The modern residence is along Barbara Drive within the Harbour Inlet neighborhood. It has four bedrooms, five bathrooms, porcelain flooring, and was recently renovated. The 3,093-square-foot home was built in the 1950s and was asking $1.495 million when it initially listed last November.

Alonso landed in Miami in Spring 2016 after the Dolphins acquired him in a multi-player trade with the Eagles. Voted the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2013, Alonso registered 115 total tackles and two interceptions last season while making 15 starts. He also scored a defensive touchdown in Week 10 against the Chargers.

Dolphins teammate Jermon Bushrod also purchased a South Florida home this week out in Davie for $1.8 million.
