Welcome to Miami’s Curbed Comparisons, a column that explores what one can rent or buy for a set dollar amount across various South Florida neighborhoods. Is one man's studio another man's townhouse? Let's find out!

We’re pulling a 180 from last week’s Curbed Comparisons, which applied San Francisco’s median one-bedroom rental budget of $3400 to five awesome residences across Miami.

This week, we put our billionaire robes on and traverse South Florida with a silly fantasy budget of $65 million—also known as House Hunters on Steroids.

We begin with our most “affordable” home, which is located in Palm Beach with an asking price of just under $60 million.

Asking just $59.5 million, here’s 22,000-plus-square-foot lakefront Mediterranean sitting on two acres with over 300 feet of water frontage.

Clad with a $60.9 million price tag is this Lowcountry estate sitting on 5.5 acres. There are multiple guest facilities and a secret garden.

“The finest team of craftsmen were assembled to create this breathtaking vision whose true success lies in its welcoming presidents, huge charity events, casual family gatherings and private contemplation,” retorts the listing.

This $64.9 million home is huge, measuring around 35,000 square feet. It boasts about 240 feet of direct ocean frontage and includes a grand salon, dual ocean balconies, and a slew of entertaining features like a bowling alley, a home theater, a pub, and a game room.

The original ask was just under $70 million.

Previously asking $68 million, this exquisite Naples estate sitting on about five acres can be yours for $65 million.

Coral stone imported from the Dominican Republic is among its finer details, which also includes Venetian plaster walls, wide plank wood flooring, and a gulf loggia with motorized retractable glass walls.

Our final and most expensive mansion is the $65 million 46 Star Island, which is the only Miami residence on our tour.

The 18,356-square-foot estate was built in the 1920s and used to serve as the Miami Yacht Club before being renovated into a single family home. It features over 20 rooms and 255 feet of water frontage along Biscayne Bay.
