Records continue to be acquired at Auberge Beach Residences & Spa Fort Lauderdale.
A little over a year after a penthouse in the upcoming luxury building sold for $8.9 million, which was a Broward record for a condo sale at the time, and another penthouse has squashed that mark after selling for $9.5 million (1,670 per square foot).
Encompassing two levels, the five-bedroom residence has six and a half bathrooms, 5,686 square feet of space, 360-degree views, and a spiral staircase that leads to a private rooftop terrace with a plunge pool.
Its new owners will have access to the top-of-the-line amenities offered at Auberge, including a fitness center, an underground garage utilizing a mechanized valet-only system of stacking vehicles, a golf simulator, and two oceanfront swimming pools. Additionally, there are two onsite restaurants and spa services (renderings of both are down below).
The developer is PRH Fairwinds, a new partnership between Related Group, Fortune International and Fairwinds Group. There are 171 units in all distributed between two towers.
The North Tower just topped off and residences are expected to begin moving in early 2018 as the full project targets a mid-2018 completion date.
Meanwhile, Auberge Miami was canceled in the spring due to a cooling condo market.
