Turnberry Isle Miami is on the cusp of a significant renovation, expansion, and rebranding.
Turnberry Associates announced the 300-acre Aventura resort will be rebranded as a JW Marriott upon completion of the renovation, which will include a new 16-story building designated for meeting space that was designed by Nichols, Brosch, Wurst, Wolfe and Associates.
Among the facilities to be upgraded are the main lobby and front drive. The resort, which includes two golf courses, restaurants, a hotel, and other facilities, plans to remain open throughout construction.
“This investment in Turnberry Isle ensures we continue to deliver the best experience and amenities to our guests and club members,” said Jeff Soffer, Co-Chairman and CEO of Turnberry Associates. “Our renovated and enhanced facilities will join world-famous features of the property including championship golf courses, members’ private rooms, and the âme Spa & Wellness Collective. We’re preserving the elements of Turnberry Isle that have made it an enduring and beloved destination, while adding features that keep the property at the cutting edge of service and style.”
