A gorgeous penthouse owned by a Miami developer recently sold for $5.3 million, making it the most expensive sale in Brickell this year.
Unit 4707 at Jade Brickell was sold by Harvey Hernandez, president and CEO of Newgard Development Group, reports The Real Deal. His firm is located a mere block away on Brickell Avenue.
The 4,500-square-foot residence initially listed for just under $7 million last January. The listing stated the sale would include a Tesla Model X but that apparently didn’t end up being the case because it sold for well under the asking price.
Encompassing two stories, it features a private elevator foyer, European Oak flooring, Boffi fixtures, a Poliform kitchen, and a rooftop terrace with an outdoor theater. The building was constructed in 2014 and overlooks Biscayne Bay.
Recent Newgard projects include Gale Residences in Fort Lauderdale and Centro in downtown Miami. Tennis star Andy Murray also recently sold his Jade Brickell unit, a 3,415-square-foot residence, for $2.5 million.
