One of South Florida’s more unique homes for sale, “The Parrot House,” has hit the market asking $715,000.

The property currently generates between $80,000 and $100,000 annually as a licensed vacation rental. It’s currently on Airbnb asking $350 per night and has 1,512 square feet of living space between the main house and a guest cottage.

There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and parrots frequenting the backyard because what self-respecting Parrot House would it be without those colorful birds swirling around?

Located at 701 Southwest 12th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale, the home was built in 1918 and features an updated kitchen, open living spaces, a wood-burning fireplace, and a bright sitting room with windows on three sides.

The property last sold in 2011 for $380,000.
