Celebrity chef Eric Ripert sells Miami Beach condo for $413K

Eric Ripert, the French celebrity chef who has appeared on episodes of Top Chef and various Anthony Bourdain shows, has sold his Miami Beach condo for $412,500.

The 1,271-square-foot unit is located in Mid-Beach, at the Maison Grande building, and features a partial view of the ocean. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The beachfront residence also included modern Tui furnishings, storage, and one covered parking space.

“It was a great place to get away with the family,” Ripert said, via a spokesperson. “It’s so peaceful at sunrise. I will miss morning walks and bike rides along the beach.”

Ripert is the chef behind Le Bernardin, an award-winning restaurant in New York City with three Michelin stars and four stars from the New York Times. It has also been featured on S. Pellegrino's annual list of "The World's 50 Best Restaurants."

Ripert purchased the unit for $335,000 in 2013.
