Meet Gil Dezer’s “day boat.”
The Miami developer behind the Porsche Design Tower, South Florida’s trio of Trump Towers, and Hyde Midtown, among others, apparently purchased a Wider 42, according to an anonymous Instagram profile that everybody knows belongs to Gil Dezer.
The billionaire’s flashy new toy shouldn’t come as a surprise. Dezer has a 1950 Porsche Spyder 550 mounted on the wall of his own home as art, per Page Six, and the Porsche Design Tower features an insanely cool car elevator named The Dezervator along with a showcase video that entails a base jumper launching off the roof.
The sleek watercraft is a similar concept to the Evo 43, a smart boat featuring an expanding deck controlled by tablet that was featured at Fort Lauderdale’s boat show last year. The Wider’s version is faster and comprised of 70 percent carbon, allowing it to achieve a blazing speed of over 50 knots. It also offers unique versatility with its four different layouts.
It’s even capable of stowing a jet ski or a 9-foot tender.
