Miami’s first home sold since Hurricane Irma wiped out most of the county’s power last week is a bayfront residence in Miami Beach that closed on Friday, per Redfin.
Located at 1425 Cleveland Road in Biscayne Point, the property sold for $2.9 million ($576 per square foot). It has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and faces north along Biscayne Bay. It was most recently asking $3.65 million.
The property becomes the priciest sale in the neighborhood so far this year.
Records show it was the first home sold in Miami-Dade County since September 8th, which is when we first starting feeling the effects of Irma. Only a handful of homes have been sold since as the market looks to rebound from what amounted to a one-week pause.
