Just how much money would you save by having a roommate in Miami? Approximately 40 percent, according to a study by RentHop when factoring in the median rent difference for one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments.
Miami’s savings ranked fourth among the nine major markets included in the report, trailing just Washington D.C., Chicago, and Boston. The savings were the weakest in Los Angeles at just 31 percent.
