A Miami Beach home with a direct bay view just listed in the Venetian Islands asking $11.45 million.
The timing is rather curious, hitting the market yesterday despite being several days out from a possible dance with Hurricane Irma, which is currently a Category 5 storm with 185 MPH winds.
However, it does appear the home is a potential tear-down, as the listing stresses the view (overlooking Biscayne Bay), the 13,408-square-foot lot, and the 107 feet of water frontage, in addition to explaining there are approved plans for a modern villa designed by SAOTA. Those designs are down below and call for a six-bedroom home with six and a half bathrooms, an infinity pool.
The current home was built in 1933 and is described as a “charming mediterranean villa” that can be “easily rented or occupied immediately.” The property last sold fairly recently, pulling in $10 million in April, according to public records.
