Fashion designer Tomas Maier scooped up Ivana Trump’s historic Palm Beach estate in 2014 for $16.6 million, and now the Palm Beach Daily reports that Maier and his husband Andrew Preston moved in after recently selling their beachfront house in Gulf Stream.
Maier and Preston reportedly carried out a “top-to-bottom renovation and restoration” of Trump’s 15,000-square-foot Moorish-style, Addison Mizner-designed Concha Marina, which is landmarked.
Ivana originally bought the home for $4.4 million in 1994, two years after her divorce to Donald Trump. The Palm Beach mansion boasts nine bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a lotus-shaped swimming pool and an underground tunnel to the beach.
