Tesla’s big plans to install more charging stations across the country are coming to fruition in Miami. The Next Miami spotted a new Tesla Supercharger station that’s reportedly now open at the Brickell City Centre garage. According to a Tesla owners forum, it has 25 charging stalls.
There’s more in the works too. According to the electric car company’s website, Tesla charging stations in South Beach, Wynwood, Bal Harbour, and Coral Gables are coming soon. In 2017, Tesla planned to double the number of Superchargers—from 5,000 to 10,000—globally by the end of the year.
In other Tesla news, luxury Mid Beach condominium 3900 Alton is planning to incorporate both electric charging stations and something called a “Tesla house car” to ferry residents around town.
At 3900 Alton in Miami Beach, Mast Capital is incorporating multiple electric car charging stations and a “Tesla house car” that will take residents to and from the project’s beach club, according to the Wall Street Journal’s Mansion Global. #3900Alton https://t.co/Bn6yp2r1Yl pic.twitter.com/BmUT6HY7TT
