X Las Olas, a new mixed-use project, is going up in Fort Lauderdale. The PMG development celebrated its groundbreaking yesterday, with a ceremony attended by city and county officials and the PMG team.
The multi-phased project spans two apartment towers with 1,200 residential units, and is slated for completion in 2020. Phase One include a 34-floor residential tower with approximately 639 studios, 1 bedrooms, and 2-4 bedroom suites. X Las Olas will also include 30,000 square feet of ground floor retail space, bringing new restaurants, markets, services, and entertainment to the waterfront along Fort Lauderdale’s New River.
Here are more renderings of the project, which is set to include amenities like a gym and fitness studio with group classses, smart package lockers, dog runs, and bike storage facilities.
