The Fort Lauderdale area leads the nation in concentration of sales and real estate jobs, according to a new study by Abodo. The apartment hunting site analyzed 2016 data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics to find that out of every 1,000 jobs in Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, and Deerfield Beach, 142.4 of those jobs are in sales and real estate.

Fort Lauderdale isn’t the only South Florida metro area with a large concentration of sales and real estate opportunities: Miami scored number three in the study after Orlando. The Miami/Miami Beach/Kendall area boasts 132.2 sales and real estate jobs out of every 1,000 jobs.
