Everyone loves a tower with an ocean view, but don’t discount the golf course view. That’s one of the draws at Akoya Boca West in Boca Raton, a new project from South Florida real estate development firm Siemen’s Group. The 139-unit luxury community is slated to open this fall, and basically every unit has a fairway view.

“A lot of people find the ocean and the water to be very relaxing. But looking out at the green, when you see the people in their carts or hitting golf balls, it’s very relaxing,” says Rob Siemens, marketing director for Akoya Boca West.

The idea behind the project is to bring the kind of modern building you’d see on an oceanfront to a country club setting. Akoya Boca West’s two- to five-bedroom residences boast large open living areas and kitchens with Italian cabinetry and Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances.

Then there’s the country club access. “It’s an upscale, modern building and we have all the amenities of the club: the golf courses, fitness center, spa, restaurants,” Siemens says. “You basically don’t have to leave Boca West. The only thing you have to leave for is to get milk. Everything else is here.”

Prices begin in the $900,000s for residences in the luxury community, which is slated to open this fall. So far, it’s been selling briskly: 70 percent of Akoya Boca West’s tower one residences are sold, 50 percent of its tower two residences are sold, and only one penthouse remains on the market in phase one. Douglas Elliman is the exclusive sales and marketing firm for the project.
