Ex- NFL player’s Tahiti Beach Island home pulls in $14.375M

Miami native and former NFL player Jonathan Vilma, who played for the University of Miami and the New Orleans Saints, just sold his contemporary waterfront home on 17 Tahiti Beach Island Road.

Vilma, who is currently a college football commentator and studio analyst for ESPN, sold the five bedroom, five and a half bedroom estate for $14,375,000. It’s one of 29 residences in an exclusive gated community, and the home offers 161 feet on the open bay along with a Zen-inspired pool and waterfall. The 8,000 square foot new construction home’s other standout features (besides the incredible views) include floor-to-ceiling windows, an elevator, and a theatre room.

Chad Carroll of Douglas Elliman represented the seller. The buyer, who is local, was represented by Christopher Tien of 305 Realty.
